Green beans are one of my favorite vegetables to cook that is both good for you and easy to prepare. Green beans taste great boiled, sauteed, stir fried, and blanched. Boiling is my preferred method when using green beans as a side dish for my weeknight meals and this one is my second go-to recipe next to my "Spicy Green Beans" recipe. I absolutely LOVE adding lemon juice, garlic, and or lemon pepper to my vegetables when I cook. I might be a lemon and garlic flavor addict at this point as a home cook as illustrated by my brother's occasional comment on how I put garlic and lemon in almost everything at home, haha. If you are looking for a quick green beans recipe and love lemon and garlic, why not try this recipe as your next side dish?
